Hey guys and gals. I've been looking at this forum (MARS) for the last couple of weeks, usually I'm just reading general discussion on the main Reef Central forum. I see that a lot of you guys offer frags for sale or other stuff. Do we have to be members of MARS to buy/talk/trade/etc. with you guys??? I would like to join, but being in sales getting days off on a Friday is tough.
But basically that was my question, do I need to be a MARS member to interact with you guys. Thanks a lot.

Absolutely........not! There are lots of people whi have a lot to share that do not have time to join the club. Feel free to jump on anything you see for sale and to talk as we can always use another voice to add to the peanut gallery we have going here .
Unless it says for trade to MARS members, it is fair game. Welcome to the forum!!!

Ditto what Paul just said. Discussions are open to everyone. Trades and sales are usually open to anyone - but on occasions, there are sales or trades that are open to MARS members only. Also - some LFS gives discount to MARS members (show them your card) and frag swaps are open to reef club members only.

BTW - welcome to this forum.

I'm kinda like that too. Went last night, went in, sat down, even talked to those on either side of me. Not once did I feel like a stand out - well, other than when my numbers where called 3 times in the raffle

I also realized I knew a little more than I thought. As others asked questions, I knew the answer (from reading these boards). That said, we can never know to much and the meetings are another great opportunity to learn.
