OK -- clarified with the Board.

MTRC Member Coral Raffle: Drawing on Friday Night (don't need to be present to win). All members paid up through a week or so ago (can't remember the exact cutoff date) are eligible.

MTRC Member AC Jr. Raffle: Drawing on Saturday at the swap. Must be present to pick up a raffle ticket, and someone with the ticket must be present to win. All paid up members before Friday 1/16 at 6pm central time are eligible for a ticket.

General Raffle (for anyone who buys tickets at the swap): Purchase tickets on Saturday. Drawing on Saturday. Must have someone present with your ticket to claim the item, otherwise we draw another ticket.

General Door Prize Raffle: Must be present with ticket to win, or another number will be called.

thanks for the claification jack....i was still confused with the AC Jr drawing because i read 2 different things....so yea, thanks for clearing it up

Seems that the people that can't make it to the Expo ( For one reason or another) are excluded from tha ACjr raffle unfairly IMHO even though they are paid members in good standing. Why shouldn't every-one's name be put in the hat for a chance to win weather your there or not. Or is this a item that you have to buy a ticket to win? Can someone please clarify?

not unfairly....it was donated specifically for the swap, so it's an incentive for coming to the swap & being a member in good standing

So i guess those people that are unable to attend that specific day are excluded for no other reason than having to work or many other things that could prevent attending. If that is the case so be it, Can't say i think it's fair though.

Yep. All of our club raffles (door prizes) are things that are "present to win" things. We can't all make every meeting. The coral is the membership perk that you do not need to be present to win. The AC Jr. is more like an MTRC door prize
