My name is Aaron I am also a slat water hobbiest. I have been trying to find a local reefers club since I got into the hobby about a yr ago. I just happened to meet linda today and she refered me to the group website (Thank You Linda) and I am interested in becoming a member. to give you a little back ground on myself I have about a 1yr in the marine side of the hobby and numerious in the freshwater side I converted from fresh to marine for (I think the most common reason that you hear) "All the pretty colors":mixed: and found out there is just so much more to it I still cant believe it. anyway a little info on the current set up I have is I have a 20gal nano reef (started out with a 55gal FOWLR) for lighting right now I have the corlife 96w quad I am using the seaclone 100 protein skimmer and for filtration I am using 1 aquaclear 70 and a whisper 20 both running normal filter media except the whisper I am running kent nirate sponge also. my current tank inhabitants are 1 maroon clown(Tigger) 3 green chromis 5 blue legged hermitt crabs 2 pepermint shrimp 2 turbo snails and some unknown type snails/slugs for coral I have red sea pulsing xenia, metalic candy cane (in the process of splitting right now yeah!) 2 green stripped mushrooms green spotted mushroom blue mushroom blue flordia recordia misc zoos and button polyps and one unknown misc SPS that was an implus buy I have about 30lbs of sand and about 15-20 LR and always looking to add more of this or that anyway I think I have rambled on enough for one post.
