Picked up a reef octopus nw-150 to replace my coralife 125 super skimmer. Works amazing. The css was far to finicky. The octopus works great, almost too good. May need to increase the tank stock to get my money worth out of this skimmer lmao.

Awesome product!!! I had a Coralife when I first started too (didn't know any better). I threw that thing in the dump.

good choice. i started with a coralife 125 a few years back myself. hated that thing. couldn't get it to run consistently, it was always overflowing, etc...

i also switched to Reef Octopus, and have been very happy with them.

they have very good support too. the second RO skimmer i bought had an issue with the cup not fitting correctly. i thought it was the silicon o-ring around the back of the cup, so they overnighted me a new one, free of charge. that turned out not to be the issue, so they overnighted me a whole new skimmer cup, free of charge. fit perfect.

both the RO skimmers i have are still running, flawlessly with only normal pump cleaning for about 3 years now.
