The best part of Christmas for me this year was that my wife found that "œfluffy" Gabriel Iglesias (my 13-year-old's favorite comedian) was preforming at Irvine spectrum improv Christmas Day but a pair of tickets for the 5:00 was over $500 for he and my wife to attend on stub hub. This was on monday that my wife found them and I told her to just wait because we're not spending that kind of cabbage. Well the price went up when the cheeper tickets sold Christmas morning but as we were leaving my brother in law's in Costa Mesa at 3:30 she got a stubhub alert that the last pair of tickets dropped in price.
I asked my son if he could pretend he was 15 years old, the min age for the show... but didn't tell him why...
As we pull up to spectrum I ask him if he sees the Ferris wheel, well you arn't going on that.
Do you see the movie theater? Well you arn't going in there.
Do you see the ice cream store? Well you're not going there either.
Do you see the line outside the improve to see "œfluffy"? That's where you are going.
The look on his face when he realized that he was goign to see Inglesias preform in person was priceless. Really the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten.
And I got to take my 8-year-old to see aquaman and torture him every time there was kissing LOL... a whole lot of fun.
