Mertensii?

I got this from a local reefer. Live aquaria sold this as a "True Carpet". Is it Mertensii? Ive had haddoni and gigantea- its neither.

+1 Helianthus - might want to move those clowns

100% helianthus. Get rid of it! Plus, I highly doubt it came from LA. They know better than to sell helianthus as gigantea.

OOPS... I just read this and I was thinking of DD. Has LA really sold these as gigantea? Can anyone else confirm this? I thought about ordering a gig from LA a few times just to see what I'd get.

Okay phew. I've been telling people who want gigs and aren't picky about color to just sign up for the email blast when LA gets in true carpets (which they label as S. gigantea). If they're saying they're gigantea, I really hope that's what people are getting.

There are 3 liveaquaria I think unless one has closed and believe me they are different. The one in Rhinlander would know the difference and they only handle diver den and aqua-cultured stuff. The others there is good chance they dont know. I have had some real problems with one of them as have some of my friends.. Never Diver Den stuff though, always top notch....
