Mg level in IO..somebody please post your result

somebody using Instant Ocean ASW mix please post Mg level obtained at properly mixed and measured SG 1.025- 1.026

Gary- Just tested this last week. If I recall, Mg was slightly north of 1300 using Salifert test kit.

Mine is typically 1350 give or take a bit at 1.026 via salifert. Yes, plain old IO

I haven't tested Mag. in newly mixed saltwater. Is that what you're looking for, Gary? My results on display tank water were 1,485 when I tested on 12/2. I've never used anything but IO and I've been a little more diligent about water changes for the last few months.

yep. IO is good stuff.

Gary- Are you interested in batch #'s as well? The stuff I'm using is probably from last year's order (but I can't be sure). I'm using the 200 g boxes. I order them for the year and get delivery every August.

FWIW, I haven't had to make any adjustments to freshly mixed IO before using it.
