Mg test kit results.

I have been using an ELOS test kit to measure Mg for a while now. Recently I obtained a Salifert Mg test kit and decided to see how closely they matched last night. The result from the ELOS kit was 1500. The result from the Salifert kit was 1070. I re-read the directions from each and believe that I followed them correctly but it would appear that I may be doing something wrong. Any ideas?:headwally:

hmmm...I did the same test and was off by 50 between the two. have a friend or LFS check to see which one is accurate.

Try re-running the Elos kit. As I recall, the test had several steps that can easily be messed up. And those little spoons....lol
