MH bulbs and a odyssea ballast Questions

So it is about time to replace my metal halide bulb.

I am using a odyssea ballast electronic pretty new ballast. I have been running a 14k phoenix and its fires that bulbs pretty good really blue.

So anyhow its been about a year and a couple weeks and its time to replace the bulbs.

Instead of another phoenix I was going to get a reeflux 10k or a SPS 12k.

Looking for more growth and with the cheap odyssea ballast makes the bulbs look blue as they undrive the bulbs.

If the phoenix fire will these bulbs fire with this ballast aswell?

Assuming the watts are the same, the ballast should fire them up. I don't think a ballast cares what the bulb color temp is, only the wattage.

What have you found with you odyssea ballast? Are yours the black ones? Sorry to resurrect old thread. I am about to replace bulbs soon on my odyssea
