Never seen them before, but it looks like a decent deal. I'm sure the bulb will ne to be replaced though.

Ohh yeah > I am sure new bulb right away.

But didn't seem to bad for the rest of the setup for 99$. Just curious if anyone has had any exp with this guys.

Yea last summer I bought a 175 watt metal halide ballast/socket kit from them for $58.99 shipped. IMO you should just get that from them instead, you're going to replace that reflector down the road with something better looking anyways. I'd buy another one from them any day.

The ballast/socket kit came with a super easy instructional sheet to hook it up. lol it also came with a complimentary combo bottle opener/cigarette lighter with some sort of "palm" looking leaf on it.

If they had a white light version it would be rocking. What I don't understand is why these things cost $4000 when they are made for fishtanks.

It's not nearly as powerful as the PFO model. It might be worth $5.00 but that's a debate still...
