MH vs LED POWER CONSUMPTION

I just set up my meanwell 60-48 to a kill o watt...90 watts on full power for one driver??? I dont get it!

I plugged both drivers up to the kill o watt on my normal led setting (about 50% white and 55% blue) and it was 55 watts. I dont understand.


Edit: subtract 5 watts each above for the fan that was connected.

How many LEDs are you running?

24x Cree XP-G white LEDs
24x Cree XP-E Royal Blue LEDs
2x 24v 6.5A power supplies (>85% Efficiency according to datasheet)
4x CAT 4101 driver boards (8 CAT4101 chips used total).

If my memory serves me well, the whites were at 850ma, blues at 700ma when I measured using a kill-a-watt:

White LEDs: 74W/h
Blue LEDs: 63W/h

How many LEDs are you running?

12 xpg leds on the one that was pulling 90 watts at full power (I left the SLR2 on full)

12 xre leds on the other driver (internally lowered to 700 milli amps).

Here is a pic of my 110 watt, 36x 3watt led Maxspec on a watt meter. In case you have trouble reading it, 116 watts total consumption, all out.
