I have given this much thought and I have read a bunch about this subject. So I figured I would go ahead and ask you guys a few questions to get your input.
I have read that Nannochloropsis sp. has a hard shell and copepods can't digest them, but they keep the water column clean of detris. Is this correct?
I was reading a study that Rhodomonas sp. are not very nutritional, but I also read they are high in HUFA and good to feed the copepods 24 hours before you feed them to your fish. Do you think this info is true?
I heard of also feeding a mixture of Cheatoceros sp. and Isochrysis sp. What I was reading is that doing this had I higher mortality rate and more spawning, in the Tisbe sp.
1.What kinds of Microalgae do you feed your Copepods?
2.What species of each, or does it matter?
3.What kinds of Copepods do you grow?
4.Do you think Copepods are better to feed fish larvae, than rotifers?
