Microbubbles And Algae Growth

I would like to get some feedback on a concept I have been sharing with other enthusiast recently. I had an outbreak of brown and hair algae in my tank. My retailer suggested that I check to see if there were any microbubbles in my display tank. I had been using the venturi from a powerhead for oxegenation. They also recommended that I increased water flow in the problem areas. After increasing flow and eliminating the microbubbles, the algae has reduced dramatically! I have been doing some research on microbubbles and algae growth. I discovered that a biofuel manufacturer is using microbubbles to accelerate algae growth in the production of algae oil in a process called QUANTUM FRACTURING!!!!!! If you enter this in your search engine it will take you to their website. Apparently microbubbles aid in the tranfer of nutrients to algae cells increasing their growth rate. At the time of the outbreak I also had a hang on style skimmer that was releasing a small amount of microbubbles. feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

I'm no expert but I have a hang on remora pro off my sump and my return from the main display dump the water (with micro bubbles) into the part that has the mirco algea. My algea grows a lot and removes any micro bubles. What you say has some merit from what I think.
