MicroChiller or IceProbe?

Which is the better quality unit? Also which has more cooling power?

I have an AC300 and if I bought the IceProbe would just drill in the side of the AC300 and install the bulkhead there for the iceprobe. Looks like the MicroChiller is basicaly the same thing, but attached to a mini AquaClear.

Oh, this is for an 18g nano.

They both would need a controller also to keep a set temp?

Hi,

They are both the same unit, only the microchiller having the power filter already along with it. I would say just purchase the probe unit only, as you can get a power filter (or since you already have one) a lot cheaper than the cost difference between the two.
