No, after 3 straight batches of unfertilized eggs, I have retired the male. So until, I can find a new male to take its place, there will be no more of these fish.

Not for the sardines, they are pretending to be.

They cluster together like that when they're young. There'll be a lot more tank than you can see in the pics. Baby clowns like to snuggle.

Great photos SanJay I enjoy the pic of all of them bunched up lookin like they are gettin ready to get feed kind of reminds me of my 2 pairs as soon as I get close to my tank they will comeup to the top sort of askin for food lol

Got my clowns...the pair are beautiful, healthy and doing well. The question is as they are tank raised how can i get them to host an anemone. I have both a bubble tip and a sebae.....they wont go near either....all my previous clown would have hosted by now....Sanjay do you have any pointers or is this a lost cause.

it can take a long time for the clowns to host a nem. I had a bunch in my tank and it took one of my pairs of clowns about 6 months to find them. They chose the torch coral instead lol but give it time they will find your nems.

Thanks Andi, I have always had clowns and never had a problem with them hosting, but my initial clowns where Black Saddle Backs.....the female got beat up while i was on a business trip by a tang that is now in my sump, and died the male then took sick a month later i put him in QT but he didnt make it after having them for over 6 years....then almost 2-3 months later my fully grown Fox Face decided to see if he could host in the LTA, that didnt end well the LTA tried to eat him....killed it and tried to spit it out and killed itself....smh


I decided to get a beautiful blue tip sebae and the photons.....the sebae didnt look so good so i got a RBTA as well....both are healthy but no clowns in em....the clowns seem to love my vortech...so im keeping my fingers crossed and hoping...

I was just curious as I have never had tank raised clowns, which have always made me weary but these where so beautiful I had to give it a shot....
