Spend a weekend with the Rockford Reefers to help support reef conservation at the premier coral conference across the Midwest. Midwest Frag Fest will be held at the Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center in Rockford, IL on April 25th and 26th, 2009. Experts in the hobby and industry leaders will be at the event to help expand your knowledge and make your coral reef aquarium thrive. FragFest brings local and national experts together to share information with presentations, hands on workshops, and trade show booths.

Was thinking about it but the room rates are insane. That and I have a start-up planned that week now.

We were thinking about staying at a hotel somewhat close to the frag fest. I am sure we can find one with a cheaper rate. We also can't decide if we are going to stay for both days or just for 1 day and then come home so we don't have to worry about a hotel. Let me know if you decide to go. Maybe we can carpool or at least hang out while we are there.

I really would love too but I have 2 start ups. One this week then another next week so I will only be in St.Louis this weekend for 60ish hours total.

We (myself, Tater, and the wifeys) will be there! We have went the last two years and had a blast. There was a ton of coral vendors and the raffle is huge. If anyone else is going for sure, lets get together

Today I booked two nights at the marriot for $55 per night on priceline, which didn't seem unreasonable to me compared to the $400 a night the Capitol Hilton just hit me up for last week. Figured at the price I could afford to stay two nights.

We decided to leave on Friday and spend the night somewhere so we will be rested up for Saturday morning. If anyone wants to meet at the frag fest, please set up a day and time. We have never been there so we do not know our way around.
