Might be a repeated post, but what size tank is appropriate for Green Carpet Anemone?

Any species other then clownfish that go well with them? I love Royal Grammas..not sure if it would be eaten by the carpet though.

PS I am in the Bay Area too, Pacifica. How do I change the time zone on here..it's saying it's 3:07 but I have 1:08.

That's a haddoni. They are known fish eaters. They are sand dwellers and like a lot less flow than gigantea. Here in the Bay Area, green haddoni are relatively common, sometimes Petco has them. Neon green ones are harder to find. Green gigantea are very rare here. I've only seen two that I can think of.

Here's a link to the anemone FAQ:
http://www.carlosreef.com/AnemoneFAQ.pdf

It will tell you which species of clown is the natural symbiant of the haddoni host.

Not sure how to change the time, I just leave mine as is.

I take it back. My time is right. To change it, click "MY RC" in the top navbar. Then go to "Edit Options" under the "Settings & Options" section. Scroll down until you see the Date & Time options.

The best analogy is like keeping a mouse in a cage with a mouse trap w/o cheese. Eventually, the mouse is going to inadvertently step on the trap. I haven't lost any fish to my 2 giganteas and 1 haddoni in my 300g but I did see a tang get stung once. The most common problem is introducing new fish when they frantically swim away. I almost had a heart attack once introducing a mandarin who glided to the bottom when introduced landing 1in from the haddoni...

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Royal grammas are relatively sedentary protecting a cave or a rock crevice. I think the more common victims are those that graze constantly like tangs or angels and they get a little too close. I also suspect other common victims are atlantic fish who aren't familiar with haddoni's deadly stings. Haddoni don't have long sweeper tentacles and are pretty sedentary themselves. I have zero worries about my royal gramma with my carpets. My banggai cardinals, on the other hand, tempt fate with my giganteas literally swimming in the middle of the folds... One way to minimize risk is to let the RG find his cave and put the carpet on the opposite side of the tank out of the main swimming channel(s)/feeding zone(s) of the fish.
