Might be an unusual question for the 6045

I am using 2 opposing in my refugium and I prefer to run them without the cover as it causes a perfect turbulence for tumbling Chaeto. Only problem is one of them keeps kicking the impeller out. Is there a secret for keeping it in? Yes I know its not meant to run without the cover, but works perfect with one and semi for the other.

No, this is how it corrects the direction of rotation, the prop flies out and in falling back after hitting the cover it gets the right rotational direction. Short of a custom made cover that would just stop the prop I can't think of anyway to make this work.

ok...i will keep tinkering with it and let u know if i get it working...at least one of them is doing good...like i said ...it works perfect for tumbling Chaeto.
