I was changing my fry tank water and for some reason i couldnt get siphon the water. I kept trying and trying and the water would go up and go right back down into the fry tank.

Heres my problem...

I finally said screw it and i just gotta cup and change it out but when i got down and was bout to get in bed i looked in there and all of my frys stomachs looked like a BUBBLE! I have no clue what happen and now im trying to go to bed and thats all i can think about. Has anyone seen this??:angryfire:

Wow, how are they today? I have seen fry bloat up on newly hatched brine and I have suspected that air might also have caused bloat in a few cases but was never able to prove it conclusively.

The bubbles are gone in all and they all look healthy! I was worried last night. I might have stirred up all the stuff and they probably gobbled down a bunch of the left over food on the bottom or they might have got a bunch of air trapped in their belly from the siphon pressure goin back into the tank

Hey Hunter, I saw in a different thread that you were going to put two different hatchs in the same fry tank. Did you do so and did it work out for you? I was able to get about 12 or so fry out of the DT into the fry tank and all are looking good so far (three day now) and they have layed eggs again (monday).

They hatched and I had hundreds but they ended up get ate by their bros and sisters! The 10 day old clowns were swimming around with the babies sticking out if their mouths. :mad2:
