Good news!

That maroon, while looking pretty ragged, seems to finally have fit in and seems to be doing well. He isn't even getting picked on too much now as long as he doesn't get TOO close. Maybe him pushing it was intentional. Well, not to give a fish enough credit to think ahead like that, but I think he was trying to take over and finally realized he lost. LOL, for now.

I'm still a little concerned with recovery, but he's out and eating and seems fine, so hope to see him all healed up soon :)

Unless we end up with TWO clowns biting us when we need to put a hand in the tank!

I read with maroons it's better to have a bigger one and then add another smaller one if you want a pair like you did.
Hopefully it will work out.

They aren't both maroons. The other is an ocellaris. Had hoped that having 6 feet of tank, and the existing one clear on one end already, they would each claim a side. They are almost exactly the same size at the moment (maroon is just slightly smaller), so hope all is settled and calmed down long before the maroon is twice the size. Seems to be settling down already, so looking good again anyway :)
