Mike's 300 Double-D

Gorgeous wrasses! Were those pictures shot with the lights off? The coral coloration and background look much more subdued.

Beautiful fish and much deserved after going through the nonsense with the fist one. Looking forward to seeing the male.

Thanks Alex and yes, those pics were taken this morning before lights came on w/flash.

Thanks Brett, we really appreciate the kind words. That whole situation was just bad and we are relieved to be moving forward. Hope you are able to find another Potter's soon and we're glad to hear your Kuiteri is tolerating the QS treatments well.

Thought we'd share a few pics

Man, (and woman) that tank looks better and better every time i see pictures of it!!

(i am sure this has been asked before, but what camera are you using? (and lens as well... although i dont know anything about them, it would be nice to know) )

Is that a kuiteri wrasse in the lower left hand corner of the FTS? For some reason I thought you only had the bipartitus wrasses.

Very nice!!
Thank you bagz727 for taking the time to participate in our thread and for the compliment. We appreciate it!

Thanks bro - that really means a lot. The camera is a Nikon D300s and Terry uses two lenses: A Nikkor 18-200mm zoom and a Tamron 90mm macro lens.

Good eye Alex! She has been with us for a few months now:

M&T...tank looks awesome. Terry is quite the photographer! Kuiteri looks like it's settled in nicely. Are the 8 lines still in QT or out?

really nice setup and awesome photos. gave me lots of ideas for my build.

Thanks so much for the compliment and taking the time to participate in our thread! It is very much appreciated!

That regal is a chunker :lol2:
She says "I resemble, err I mean, I resent that remark!" LOL!

Thanks Roni! The Eightlines are in the DT and doing well.

Thanks LN! Your new clown pair is gorgeous btw and sorry to hear about your BSJ.

For an update, we thought we'd share some pics of the trio of Rhomboid females that are chillin in the acclimation box in our DT:

These pics aren't great, but you get the idea... :D

Love the Rhomboids, one of my favorites for sure. I hope they do really great for you two.

Thanks Brett, we're a little nervous, but these little ladies came in really healthy, so hopefully all goes well.

glad to see the rhomboids all made it through QT for you. They are stunning. Where did you get them?

My pictures really do not do them justice. They are so much more colorful in person. We acquired them through PIA.

Thank you! He is actually Ctenochaetus strigosus (Yellow Eye Kole Tang). :)
