New to Reef Central

I am in the military (my husband is retired military) and we have a 175 bowfront. We are currently taking care of our daughter's tank while she is at tech school. We live in NW Missouri and would love to be part of this club!

Luvthebeach, we would be glad to have you. So you and your daughter both have tanks? I bet the 175 bowfront is nice, I've always liked the bowfront tanks but never had one that large.

I am more of a lurker than a poster until I saw this..I will gladly lend a hand where I can. A/D Coast Guard 12+ years now in Middleburg Heights, OH

happy new years everyone, got back home 2 days ago so after the holidays i will hopefully be getting this thing up and going with a website coming and hopefully a formal club.

Formal club

Formal club

Let me know what I can do to help make this a formal club. This has been one of the best ideas I've seen in awhile.

Remember if anyone needs help in the Pennsylvania eastern area let me know.

Hi I'm leaving for Navy boot camp in April and then A/C school. What would be my best option? Tank is 33 gallon long (48"x12"x12").

1. Sell all live stock and keep the equipment and rock in storage.
2. Sell everything and start new when stationed at first command.
3. Move tank to my brother's house to watch the tank while away and try to transport everything at a later date.
4. Other.

Thanks and happy new year!

Sucker_fish. Welcome home!

I got home hours before the New Year as well, and my New Year's plans include getting the tank up and running, as well. Best of luck on your start up!

glad to be home

glad to be home

Thanks everyone its definitely good to be home, now I just need to take some more leave to recover from my vacation :lol2:. If anyone has any ideas for where to go to get a website up and going I'm all ears. I checked trough one place and MRSN.com is already in use so I was thinking of getting a .net or .org address. I want to go with somewhere that will be able to design the site so it can be broken into region, state and military bases in each state.

I'm interested in that website you're trying to create sucker fish. It'll give me something to do while I'm stuck here in Camp Buehring, Kuwait! lol Can't wait to get home and build my 240!

I would give you mucho rock if I got my BOP to McChord!! Dang AF!! Now I cant complain because I am stuck at Nellis AFB on Pavehawks but I wish I was back home in WA! If anyone is stationed at Nellis contact me via private message I got extra stuff in the garage!
