Millipede looking thing in my tank

I was just staring at my tank a minute ago and noticed something odd. I stare at it more as it munches on my rock and then notice that it looks like like a milipede with huge chompers. I began to move a little and he zipped back into a rock. I freak out because I have seen this thing on Oregon Reef . com. It turns out this thing is a Eunicid worm. They tend to eat everything! My zoas have been dissappearing and I did not know why. Now my questions is how the heck am I supposed to catch this thing? I am going to try the red light at night trick to watch him, but how do get my hands on him(well not real "hands" per say)?

Any thoughts? I am about to leave for a week and I do not want to come back to a bare tank.

Could indeed be a Eunacid worm. Impossible to know what it is without a picture though. Specifically a picture of the mouth which will be hard to get without removing the worm from the tank.

Depending on the size of the varmint. I have been as crude to use a plastic fork attache to an acrylic rod. Obviously that only works on larger worms. I have only done this with bristle worms. But I think it would work on a large Euncid as well.

Well isn't that a creepy little bastard. Sorry, no idea what it is, but if I get one in my tank, I will get medieval on it.

I would say that looks like a eunicid worm. because of the two antena in front. I would google up Eunicid Worm to see if there is a match.

I got a better look at him when the lights went out last night. It is indeed a Eunicid worm. And he is at least 6 inches long. This is not going to be easy.

Anthony, Whatever rock It's going In remove that rock to a bucket with some kind of food and lay In wait. Worst case senario you have to take several rocks out to find It. Good luck.
