Which would you recommend? Or is there a better, comparably-priced option?

I've heard of bad solenoids on the Milwaukee.

I went with blueline i like it so far been runng for atleats 7 mos no problems yet.

Do not by the Milwaukee. Its CRAP! I had nothing but problems with mine from day one. I am using the JBJ and so faf so good after a year.

Where's the cheapest place to get the JBJ? I have the Milwaukee and it keeps freezing up on me every 2 weeks or so. I just unplug it and plug it back in an hour or so later and it's working again.:(

I just bought a Reef Fanatic because of the great things I have heard. Reefgeek.com with 5lb CO2 bottle for 206 shipped!!

All my local 'reef' buddies run the same Milwaukee I run and some of them have had theirs for 2-3++ years with no issues. Also Milwaukee support is extremely helpful and they stand behind their products from what I have found. I thought I had a bad solenoid but it turned out I had things mixed up. After they explaind it to me and cleared it up everything was great.

I had two Milwaukee regulators and they never worked right. I would set it where I wanted it and 10 minutes later it would either shut completely down or open and release a ton of CO2. I sent two units back for this reason and they kept telling me they had an issue and fixed it. Finally after the third time I gave up and bought a JBJ which I have had no issues with.

I have a Pacific Coast Gen-X also. I had an Aquamedic before...the Gen-X is much better. No problems in over a year. And it is the cheapest regulator I have found. I got mine off eBay for $59.00.

What is the problem you guys have had with the Milwaukee?
Mine just shuts down for no reason. If i unplug it and wait an hour or so and plug it back in, it starts working again. It happens about every two weeks.

Looks like I'll be checking out ebay!
