Minh's 320 reef

RJT,
Thanks.
My larger Betta out a lot. My smaller one only out when I feed the tank. I have had the larger Betta for 5+ years and the smaller one for about 1 year.

Thank you

What did you decide about the tangs?

Were there any marks on the regal? It died pretty fast.

I sold my PBT so I have room in the frag tank for my Next Regal angel. I will keep him there until he eat well, then release him into the main tank. The last Regal angel was harassed to death my my current Regal angel. The tangs and the other fish leave him alone other than the first hr or so. He was very small (<2 inches)l, smaller than my current Regal (around 2.5 inches) When he died, there was no disease other than torn fins from the other Regal. I had such an easy time with my first Regal, that I was cocky and over confident. None of the fish bother him. He was grazing the rock after a few hours and eating frozen food the next day. By day 4 he was aggressively eating food, compete with other fish in the tank for food. Now he eat both frozen and dry food.

My mistake was thinking Regal angels tolerate each other well. There are several people on this thread have 3 Regal angels in their tank.
To remedy this, I will get a medium Regal angel instead of small. I will keep him in the Frag tank by himself (with a lawn mower blenny) until he eats well before I release him into the DT.

I actually have a Medium Red Sea Regal angel coming this week.

Not really.
I am depending on the larger size, and the fact that he have started eating already to keep the resident Regal from bother him too much. I would really love a pair in my tank. If I fail this time, then there will be no other try. Right now I am batting 50% (I don't see any reason why my current Regal will died unless it is stupid mistake on my part. I hope to bring my batting average to 66.67%

My clowns are pairing up. The do pair with similar clowns. Snowflake pair up with Snowflakes, Onyx pair up with Onyx. The SnowOnyx pair up with SnowOnyx. I do not think this is a coincident that they pair up like that.

I just cannot capture the color. Igot greenest of green corals, bluest of blue, and very nice red and orange. But the dark LED light just drive me crazy. They really look beautiful in person but not on camera.

Check the Photography Forum here on RC for tips on how to set up your camera for aquarium shots. A lot has to do with shooting in RAW mode and manually setting the White balance.

I use my cell phone. I will have to take my SLR out and dust it off. I will try later this evening. Thanks

The Big Four in my tank. All still small to medium at this time. Maybe in 2-3 years "The Big Four" will be more reasonable
