A friend gave me a Red Tapetum. I have in my QT tank and have been feeding him daily for the last several month. He was about the size of a dime when I got him. Last night he divided and I have 2 Red Tapetum in my QT tank right now, both larger than quarter size.
I love your tank!
I am so jealous of your anemone collection and the red haddoni is just amazing.
The hanging acros look really weird but cool at the same time.
It gives the tank a mysterious and beautiful feel. You need more hanging acros!
OrionN - can you show any images of how you mount and hang your frags? What sort of line / filament are you using and how do you attach the frag or rock?
I use 20 lbs monofilament fish line. Just tie a loop and tie the coral with it. Situated the coral as you light and tied on a frame on top of the tank to where ever you like
This morning I was able to observe my Leopard Wrasses come out of sleeping. All sleep in the same place. I guess that mean I have a harem, even if all three still have coloration of females. Seeing this I think it is just mater of time until the largest one turn male.
BTW, never you mind my bleached Magnifica. This is a new Mag that I have high hope for. He is on his way to recovery. Purple column with green tentacles. Will post on this and picture at another time.
My New Magnifica is recovering and is really nice in coloration. I have bright light on him, so his zoox is not coming back as quickly as he should. Lower light area seem to recover quicker than higher light area.
I got a baby Regal angel about 10 days ago. She is really doing well in my QT system. I also have a pair of breeding clowns in there (out of room). She is eating well, mysis and flakes. Here is a picture of her just now. Just shy of 2 inches, smaller than my female SnowOnyx
