Minh's 320 reef

Looking good Minh! I was looking for this thread last week and couldn't find it. Thanks for the update. Also, what kind of tang is in that 3rd pic? The one with the white tail? I like!

When you have time, please get us addicts some more/closer/in focus pics... I know worm's getting withdrawl shakes too.... :)

That tang is my mistake. It is a A. blochii tang. It is going to he huge. A friend who have a 500 g tank (10 foot) will get him when I am bale to get him out of this tank.
I got him at 1.75-1 inches barely 6 months ago and now he is 4 inches and rapidly out grow my purple tang (3 years)

Here is a bad FTS from my cell phone. All the corals are still too small and I just rearrange the rock so the tank is a little cloudy. I update again tomorrow when the coral, clams are less PO

Great looking tank! I know those gigs are big, but they look small compared to the tank size and also the Tridacna. Please most more photos when you can!

I can not get over the size of the stuff in there.

LOL

I keep expecting to see a beachball size pearl com rolling out. HAHAHA

Which gigs did you move into there?

that clam looks awesome... hes huge... what kind is it??

They are easy to keep unless you over populated them like I often do. Keep one or two clams and they will live for ever if you have enough light which you do. If you don't keep your calcium and alkalinity up, then they don't grow as fast.
Just make sure you keep all the parasitic snails form infecting your tank, and treat Pinch Mantel disease if you have them with fresh water dip.

Go ahead and get one, I help keep an eye for disease and advise you on treatment if your clam have PMD

Great tank, nice pieces.
But I would put that gigas in the back or under PW on right side cause it is SOO huge it blocks too much view atm. It will draw attention to it anywhere in the tank anyway.
With that visible lagoon after that it would be more 3d on photos.
Hard to say how it looks irl.

I do not want to sound harsh, I really like tank and aquascape etc.
Good luck.

I have Kalk reactor and Ca reactor. Both control by rate control lab grade pumps with strong motor and stainless steel rotors that will last forever. None of these plastic pumps that sale for reefer. Both are up and running keep my Ca and Alkalinity optimal. pH also doing great.
