Minh's 320 reef

The color is noticeably brighter and the brown color is lighter. They seem healthier and longer tentacles also.

I also released my second Regal Angle (Red Sea Yellow breast) into the DT yesterday. I have had him in my Frag tank for several months, eating well and is fairly fat. He is larger then my Resident Regal angel (Pacific Blue chest). The seem to fight only a little. I hope in a week or two both will be fine. I would love to get two of the same region, but living here in Corpus, I get what I can get, especially difficult to keep species like Regal angel.

Here is a picture of the two Regal Angel. Red Sea and Pacific differences is really clear to see in this picture

I got a nice picture of my Chevron today so I though I post it. This fish is very fiddicult to capture. This is a blemish picture, did not show the entire fish, but it is the best I got. I love this fish. They look better in real life in my tank. Absolutely stunning fish in a supple sort of look.

My H. malu under really intense light developed in to a very nice multicolor. I think the color of this Malu is really special. He is under Radion G3 Pro with light about 6 inches above the water and he is about10 inches under the water surface. Radion on 100% 11 hrs a day with 1 hr ramp up and 1 hr ramp down

I am collecting Malu again. I am up to 4 at this time, a green tipped two purple tipped and one multi-colors. I will have them all in my refugium. This is the tank that I hope to isolate if I get them to spawn. If I can do this, I will see if I am abbe to raise the babies. Here is a picture of the green tipped Malu. This anemone is highly unusual in that his column is Pink-Red. Until I see this one, I have never seen a Malu with columns other than grey/white or grey/yellow

It's raining today in Corpus. I cannot go outside, so I took out my SLR and snapped some pictures. Here are some of the better ones of my fish and a few Invert:

A LFS was trying to offer some of us this red saddle nem. I bet it would have been nice in your tank, Minh

My baby Regal did not make it. :(

I bought another small Marine Beta and added her into my tank. She was chased around a bit by my other two Beta and got her fins torn but after a day or so, she settle to a new rock structure in the middle of the tank I build for her, including a fairly large conch shell in a middle of the rock where she stay in. come out in the evening and seem to be able to get food to eat. I think my three Beta settle down. Hope to have one male and two females Marine Beta in the tank.

of all my fishes, two insomniacs in the tank are the Copper Band Butterfly and the Powder Blue Tang. They don't seem to sleep but patrol the tank at night. I did not remember my previous PBT acts this way. Each fish is different I guess.

Just took a picture of my Copper Band Butterfly just now. Here he is, plus a very fat Yellow tang in the back ground, and a turn over plate coral I need to right. I thing the Tusk did it to look for eatable things under it.

These are pictures of my Doreensis today in the refugium. I tool a picture of the sand bed dept that he is happy in. He moved until I got the sand dept to about 5 inches or so. I think at this dept, he is happy. Although he likely can do with less.
This is the sand bed. The tank is a 40 gal breeder. I make sure the picture included the top and bottom of the tank.
