I am not sure. Everything went wrong with this treatment. I think the accumulation of everything cause his demise. He may survived if not for the heat controller malfunction because I think this was the worst of everything that went wrong.

Ebay, get the 250mg bottle. I can't fully tell from that pic on my cellphone but without treatment right now is probably too late on that anemone.

Sorry to hitchhike in here... but my anemone goes from being gorgeous for two or three days to un-inflated and mushy the next... I finally got the medication from the mail today... I am still concerned with doing it or doing the treatment/ Please let me know if you have had any luck with the treatments. Meah I see you have many anemones... should I ride it out or should I try it? I do have the meds now. please advise. Thank you for all your details on this thread.

You should get the anemone out to a HT and treat him per instruction on the antibiotic thread at or near the top of this forum. It does not work 100% of the time but help in a great majority of the time especially when you start early.

I wouldn't try to ride it out. Antibiotics can save him.

I got the 10G tank, medication pills cipro 500mg, a small heather, a tank divider and i have a LED radion pro that i am planning on putting on top of the tank somehow for now until i get another light rered this threat and will do as you said my problem is my 55g tank where the anemone is now got nitrite and i am trying everything to lower it and no luck... i guess i have way more problems in my tank than i thought. i did a 20% water change yesterday added 10ml of prime and will test it today. the green is looking good the purple has ups and down as the day goes on... i have a 72 g that is much older tank but it is full of margento so do you think i should get the water from that tank and acclimate the anemonies and try using that water? i feed the 55 2 x day and i may have to cut it down. idk thank you for all your help

If you think your tank water is good then use that water. Otherwise mix the water ahead for at least 1 day to use it to change water.
I use water from my DT to do water chang ethen get new salt water (at least 24 hr old) and add to my DT.

hi Minh thank you so much. i moved her tonight to the 10 G and i used 500mg of cipro because she is very sick. i added a power head that i think is too strong so need to buy another one so i put a barrier to duverse the flow. put a cup for her to attach too however she was detached in the tank. i was hoping to treat both together but the green one isattached anddoes not want to move ( i bought a small light at the store thst would fit my 10 gallons and will try it tomorrow morning. the anemone inflated this morning in the DT but only for abiut one hour. it has not eaten in two weeks now. i will see how it wakes up tomorrow. should i keep at 500mg per ten G?

Hello all I started her on the meds 500MG for 10G. I am a little nervous with the amount because I have read some pages that say it should be 250mg. Please let me know if you think I should change to 250mg. Thank you
I will post the two pictures of what she was on the first day after the treatment.
Day one she inflated right away and at the beginning of day 2 she attached to the bottom of the tank. I am not sure if I am doing the right thing or not please help

That NEM doesn't look like it needs 500mg of cipro. I would go down to 250mg.
