Minh's Exceptional Red Haddoni

OrionN

Moved on
After looking and looking for a nice Red Haddoni, I think I found one that I can say that is the best Red Haddoni I have ever seen. I had one for several years but he was not an exceptional one like this one. I just got him today from Aquatic Collection. I am certainly happy with this very nice red. In fact, I got 3 very nice and relatively rare anemones from Joe. This picture below was taken about 2-3 hrs after I placed him into QT.

He is digging down already. Please forgive a few flat worm in my QT. These is a bunch of Chiton that reproduced in my QT. Very healthy QT. The algae keep the condition of the water perfect.

Glad you got it. It's a nice one and I may have been tempted if I had the tank for it. It also seemed to be healthy over the time I've seen it there.

BTW, If you ever want to get rid of some of your chitons, I'm looking for some...

Very niiiiiice.... I would have probably grabbed all 3 as well :) well, at least the haddoni and malu. I have only had a couple lt's, and I had trouble with them letting go with their foot and floating eventually.... A lfs has a lt colored like that a short time ago. I passed on it because I was afraid of it letting go with it's foot....

Do you place your long tents in enclosures with low flow? Ever have issues with them letting go and not attaching?

They got another one in last night:

Plus a green monster gigantea:

That one was already sold.

WOW definitely one of the reddest Haddoni I've seen. almost like a giant version of those mini Bali blood carpet. Most tend to be dark red, kinda purpleish like mine... congrats! Aqua Collection has some of the best nems.

did the red Doreensis lose some color? I recall it had a little more red/yellow contrast to it. maybe it's just the Haddoni too red..

I really like the Red Haddoni. It is really very red.
The Doreenis is still very nice. That is one of the older picture. I have him in a frag tank. He is 1/2 under the frag rack and not able to get a good current picture of him.

Wow that Malu turned out really beautifully! Kinda bummed I let it go but I'm happy it went to a good home. Wasn't what I was looking for and I only have room for 1 new in that tank at that time.

The red Haddoni is gorgeous! I haven't been to AC recently. Time to go check it out I think.

It is beautiful Vincent. Thanks.

m0nkie,
I actually have the Red Bali Mini carpet in the same tank. The Haddoni is actually redder than the Bali mini carpet, at least with direction vision. Seen your post yesterday, I took a picture of both for comparison this AM. Here it is about 1 hr ago.

I fed him a piece of fatty salmon. I think he had indigestion and shrunk in size all day yesterday. I was a little nervous. This AM he is back to his normal size. I took this picture when the light just came on so the color was a little blue. Will see how he is this PM. I think I will stick to tuna and shrimp from now on. My other anemones take salmon without problem. Maybe I should let him settle a little more first before start to feed him.
