They show up once in awhile at the LFS's here.
Just do a search on in this forum and you will find lots of info. Also search the web for Stichodactyla Tapetum, the scientific name for these anemone.
Try PM'ing Gary Majchrzak(also his RC member ID). He has some for sale on occasion and seems to have a lot of knowledge when it comes to Mini-Carpets (S. Tapetum) and Anemone's in general.

Googled Stichodactyla Tapetum not to much info at all. The R.C. search engine is pretty much usless for regular members. I've had him for about a month now & it eats like a pig I'm hoping it will split.

yea buy they are tiny.....

Don... do you know how to get them to move?? .... i've got a few i want to get out of the tank but i don't know how to get them off the rocks ...

Mine is pretty big it's the size of a saucer plare about 4in radius. Yeah J-man just put it indirect flow of a small power head & it will move pretty quick thats what i did for this guy.

That thing is a gaint compared to the ones i have... mine are no bigger than a nickle.... they split often as well....

I have one of the giant ones....I have had it for almost 2 years and it has never split, I also feed it a few times a week. It is about 8-9 inches across now. When I first got it i was only 2 inches.....Gary M has some of the bigger ones too, they are relatively new to the hobby, just coming in in the last 1-2 years. Mine has never moved from the place I put it when I first acclimated it. Clowns do not seem interested in them either....I have pics if you want to see them.
Yours is real pretty Donavon.....

Lets see some Pics Azurel there are so few pics of these. my buddy John who got this one for me has a solid yellow one so I know there are a few different morphs out there. Mine move off the rock he was shipped to me on and onto my rock work & hasen't moved sense. this one eats krill everyother day.

I got mine for $8, they sold it to me like it was a mushroom. They guy that sold it to me wasn't sure at first if it was an anemone or a mushroom in the end he sold it to me as thoough it was a mushroom. I knew it wasn't after the first hour it was in my tank when I had to peel it off my hand, there is no mushroom I know of that can do that.....Here are the pictures...Where it is at is kinda hard toget a picture for size referance.....

They are not the best pictures but you get the point.....

I second that those things are sweet. They almost look to me like little ricordia's, or is it just me.
