Mini carpet nem

So I'm doing a trade and getting 2 mini carpets that are attached to live rock. Can I use coral rx dip without hurting the nems?

So I read a few posts and everyone says not to dip them. They are each on their own rock. How do I get them off the rock without hurting them? Can I aim a power head at them and hope they get mad and move?

Sure you can use a powerhead to get them to move. You were told right to NOT dip the anemones in anything. Coral or fish dips will kill them rather quickly

Thank you! I ended up cutting the piece of rock apart with out going near the nem. He's in my frag tank now. Wish me luck, my 1st nem

Here is 1 ... I put it in my frag tank for now just to keep an eye on him for a bit, a friend of mine took the other 1.

I have been thinking of getting one of those keep us informed like to see how it does

So far so good. I feed it some mysis every other day. I'm not sure I want to put it I'm my big tank since there is a lot of flow. I'm not sure if it would move to a bad spot.

Nem is still doing good but has changed color! Is this normal?

Looks like its bleaching to me. Not sure though.

It's a bright green now... I turned my white lights up for the pic.
