I got one last weekend at our frag swap.I have it in a 12 gallon nano cube dx.Would that be plenty of light for a mini.

It should be fine, but supplement it with food soaked in vitamins, like mysis shrimp.

Yeah, from what I know about S. tapetum, a 12 gallon should be fine. They are described as hardy and also known to assexually divide in aquariums.

How are your RBTAs, by the way?

Hey Gary,They have all bleached and are still eating like crazy.I just cannot figure it out.They have been like this for 6 months now.The 120 will be ready this weekend.I will be running t-5's instead of mh's.Maybe this will help.

Hmm, weird. I would suspect maybe the lighting isn't to their liking some way. I have several of that same clone under T-5s now and they look great. I think you and your anemones will love the T-5s. I have a mix of 10,000K and 6,000K, but you can get by with more blue than I have and be just fine. I'm glad to hear they are eating. They are pigs. Have you checked the temperature with another thermometer. I'm just trying to think what could lead to them bleaching. If the water temp is too high, that could do it. I'm sure you do regular water changes, but that could also be helpful, to do partial water changes to make sure the iodine, etc. is present for the zooxanthellae. My first guess would be that the MH lighting isn't doing the trick for some reason.

i have a ton in my 12 gallon they dont need any help in surviving! trust me. they will multiply like weeds and take over everything so watch them. mine also ate my goby so watch that too. lighting has never been an issue with mine.

The t5's are 4 10k and 2 actinic plus.Water temp is 78 to 80.Water change every 2 weeks. Thanks Gary
