Mini Maxi Carpet Anenomes

I have two awesome mini maxi's, but here is what is kinda crazy about them. The purple and green one stays usually in the same spot and has full color. My tan and green one disappeared for several weeks into the rocks and then emerged and he is now white. He is doing fine and eats like crazy what the hell? Has anyone experienced this before? Let me know, thanks!

It happens, and it's not all that uncommon. Just keep feeding it well, and it should recover.

an ammino acid soaked food should be helpful. Try selcon or vita chem.

I have a bunch of them, but usually it's the other way around. They get bleached from too much light. Some of the LFS put them in tanks and blast them with light. They lose color and they sell them cheap. I've gotten some spectacular rainbows by looking closely and giving them a couple of months to recuperate.
