Minimalist Aquascaping

Just getting my shallow back up and running again.

Here's mine. A 34 gallon cube I'm restarting after sitting dormant in my garage. It's still cycling, no life yet

Getting the last little bit of rock in from Marine Depot this weekend! :D 30lbs in a 40 breeder, should be fun to do some 'scaping!

The idea is to only work with one pilar on a PVC Foam board. Materials used Fiji rock dead, PVC Foam, Tie-rips, Epoxy, Speedglue and Keramikkleber.

Some of the tanks in this thread definitely inspired me. Here is my 135 gal reef tank that is now 1/2 a year old and doing well. I tried a more open layout than with my prior tanks and followed the principal of "less rocks is more". :)

Here is my work in progress. My old 210 gal set up is r-done with a different layout. Also decided to go the "two islands" route.

This the old 210 gal tank two years ago:

This is the current pic from today after I re-arranged the rocks. However, this is not final yet, as I am still not 100% happy with the rocks (esp. right side) and still have to clean and refill the sand.

Not minimalistic but also not a rockwall like my old tank.
