Minimum distance for nano Wavebox

I'm currently in the process of building a lagoon type tank. The dimensions will be 53" long, 32" front to back and 26" deep. I would like to use the Nano wavebox but mount it on the back panel of the tank so that the wave will be from front to back. Will the front to back dimension of 32" be sufficient to create a wave? It doesn't have to be a big wave, just enough to create a back and forth motion.

32" is fine but now your tank is bascially 53" wide in terms of how the wave box is looking at it. I think you would need two of them to get any effect. But someone else like Steve might have an opinion too.

Even if you mount the nano wavebox in the back panel doesn't mean your wave will be front to back, it will be side to side on the 53" length. If you want to achieve front to back, you will need 2 nano wavebox on the back at each corner
