Minimum tank size for a Blue throat trigger?

I personally believe that triggers of that size need more swimming foom than tangs. IE I would not do it in anything smaller that 5-6ft.

I have a 58gal(same footprint as your 65 and my stocking list is.
Potters angel
6line wrasse
watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair
pair of clowns.

Keep in mind the scale of your fish relative to your tank size. Putting bigger fish in that tank is just going to make the tank and everything else in it look smaller.

I agree. The Xanthichthys triggers need a lot more swimming room than most people seem to think.

what size tank were you wanting to put one in? I have one in my 55G. I've had it since July its about 2-3" she swims laps all day and she likes big holes to swim in and out of the rocks...in the next year or so I plan on upgrading but she may have to go before then since she recently developed a taste for xenia!
