Minimum tank size for three tank bred ocellaris?

cherubfish pair

Would a 33 long suffice? (see my blog for tank stats). I've been planning a clownfish pair for this tank and now I'm thinking about a trio and maybe an anemone after several months past the clown's addition.

From what I've read, with three or more clowns, the dominate male will pick on the subordinate male(s). Does this ever become a problem? (torn fins, etc.) The clowns would be the only fish in the tank.

3 clownfish is never a good idea, especially in a tank that small. One of the three is going to be harassed until it dies, especially as the female gets older. I'd just stick with two clowns....I think you'll be much happier.

Okay I'll go with two. Having three clowns is asking for problems and just one clownfish is not enough. (I've read paired fish are happier in most cases.)

And tank bred since that's the only thing I've been able to keep alive.

Can anyone offer advice for re-setting up my existing setup for a pair of clowns and maybe an anemone? I'm tearing down my 33 gallon.
