Minor tank tear down

I can't wait! :-D I forgot to ask though, could you please double check the temp and salinity of the tank before you break it all down? I want to make sure to make the transition as easy as possible for the animal. I might change the parameters of that tank slightly to for a couple days to make the acclimation easier.

Minor Flub on my part. 3 PM won't work, I won't be home until around five. Hope you get this in time. I'll send a PM to you both. Sorry. Call and let me know if you can swing that.

Just got off the phone with Al a bit ago and it seems everything is set. This is the first pic I've posted of my new tank because I've had trouble connected to my web server. Here will be the snowflakes new home. :-)

:-D Thanks again Joe. I can't wait. Will try to post pics tomorrow, I don't think I will turn on the light tonight to let it relax a bit.

Damn it! I missed the split again! Oh well, you're welcome Jon, Tank looks good, he should be very happy. Al has one piece of live rock, but his anemone is attached to it, so you may have to wait until he gets it to loose up. I've been feeding with a feed stick, and his eyesight is not so good. So you have to pretty near hit him in the head with the food. Good luck!

Joe

I plan on purchasing a nice feeding stick at TPP during their sale. How often has it been eating and how much? What salinity and temp was it in?

Jon

Salinity was 1.023, temp is 77. I'd been feeding once per week. Usually a piece of cocktail shrimp, sometimes whatever looked good at Safeway. Always about that same size though, maybe 1" X 1/4"

It's home and went straight into it's home... my cave rock! I've held onto that rock for years hoping some day an animal like an eel would call it home. It went right in. It pokes it's head out and right now is actually swimming all around, but keeps returning to the cave as it's safe spot. It's only sharing the home with a couple of hermits for now, so no reason to be shy. Lucky animal to have 75g all to its self. :-) I'll get pics tomorrow leaving the lights off for the night to let it relax and my camera doesn't like low lighting.

The anemone took a little work to move out of the rock. Ihad to work at the side and made a hole below him. As I got closer he released. He has a new home in DIY rock and as of today he was still in the same place. Thanks

Sorry, didn't get pics today. I was busy with a big school project and.. well my hamster passed away, so I was cleaning up and putting away his mansion.

Eh, I'd never keep a ****. I'd write the list of what I have, but I have to rush my gf to class. That and it would take a little while. I'm going into aquaculture when I graduate, or sooner, so the aquariums you could say are the start of my biz and training in my field.
