Nope. Just the canopy.They're more durable than you think. I'd be most worried about a fish jumping up and breaking one. Do you have any top on the tank itself, between the water & bulbs?
Could either go with a clear mesh screen top, or check out eplastics and make some sort of splash shield for the light.

You have a pic of how I mounted mine in the 1st post.You can see my hydras in the middle. I made a nice hanging frame around them.My canopy is completely closed except the back.It runs very cool in the canopy. No fans other then whts in the hydras.
Why did you build the hanging frame and not mount them direct to the canopy? No problems with the heat from the bulbs on the wood?
The kit comes with 4 metal clips. I assume the clips are for snapping in the T5 bulbs towards the middle. Did you use those?
