I was just at petco looking at their tank sale but none of the caught my interest since they only had a bunch of 10 and 40 breeders. But while at the livestock i noticed a misbar in with the rest of the occelaris clowns so I'm taking a risk and brought him home with me. He is about 1" long so to make sure he will be ok I'm seeing up my Fluval spec as my little quarantine tank in my room so i can keep an eye on him. As soon as i get my 20L ready that will be his new home. I thought he was a steal at $16 + tax.

I, on the other hand, listened to the siren call of new tanks. 10 g. times 2, and a 20H. All these will be for FW angelfish. A breeding pair and growout for babies. And yes they are really are $1/gal. Bring your Petco Card for the sale price.

Oh u got the tank i was going to look for :( my brother asked me to see if i can get him a 20H because he wants to get poison dart frogs and he said the 20L is too low.

Yeah he is very cool, got about a half bar on the top and then a little small one on the bottom of his belly. He is laying by the heater in the tank because the water is a little cold but i saw him swimming around a couple of times.

I think they are about the same size so this little guy will go into the 20L when i set it up. i will have to look for some smaller ones to make 2 pairs with and also find a new home for the damsel. for now i hope he will be ok in the 2.5 spec. yeah he is very cool just started to swim around the tank a little i guess the water was a little chilly for him since he is by the heater
 
There was more than one 20H. I picked the one that had the corners actually come together correctly!

You might ask if there are any other tanks not on display. Maybe the manager knows. The employee I spoke to didn't even know the tanks were on sale!

Last time i asked about something like that they said all they had was on the sales floor and their overstock is visible on the wall or in the hall by the reptiles. Guess someone else got the last 20 high then that you left for me :( good thing or else i would not have found the fish :) wish they had the 5 gallon on sale to set up as a fish quarantine but it's 10 and up

I just called PetCo to check about the 10G. and you are right. Bummer I was thinking about getting a 5g, just because it would be ONLY $5.

I asked about 20H and the lady said she was looking at two. Now you have NO excuses!! :) Get your butt down there NOW!

Actually i do have an excuse again, it's called having spent your remaining $20 on a cool little fish (peanut) i was also looking at the 2.5 to set up for my mom, she wants neon tetras.
 
i put a small gu10 led light on the small spec and when he (peanut) swims close to it his white bars seem to glow a little blue also oh she looks so awesome under that light too bad my stupid phone can't take a decent picture under those conditions:deadhorse1::headwalls:
 
Hey Gonzalez did you happen to see the semipicasso clowns? $69 each and pet o was letting them go for $40 each at the e.d. I thought that was a great steal too.

Really? Dude i did not see them i am actually interested in getting a Picasso of any grade. Shot i need to get more money $40 is a great deal. Welcome to the hood lol

Cool bro im glad you're liking it. BTW there is a virtual tank tour going around and its Santa Rosa's turn if you want to take a whack at it. Great input from the rest of this great club members. if not still you can upload some pics of your set-up for all of us to watch.
