Misbar Percula age?

I have a misbar percula and I would like to get an educated guess on its age.
I assume that it is male because my female (3+ inch) black ocellaris has not tried to kill it. He is about an inch and a half and the store had him for a month or more. Eleven has darkened up a lot since I brought him home. I hope that he will get a little darker. So after all that rambling what I would like to know is how old are captive breed percula's when sold to LFS's?

I would think that fish is probably about a year and a half old. Percula are slow growers. Are you sure its a True Percula?

Yes I believe so the black around the white has gotten darker and is spreading a little and he has the eyes. Which leads me to believe that he is a True Percula.

Yup thats a Perc, im guessing around year old but there is no way to be absolutely sure

So you don't think he is less then a year old. So a good guess would be a year +ish?

From the pic im guessing it measures between 1-1.5in, most percs ive seen that size are around a year old, i dont think it is any less.

Thats only a guess though

I would agree its a perc, and id saw 11-13 months.Be careful that that Black & white doesnt beat the hell out of him.

I added Eleven about two weeks ago and so far so good. I have had the black and white about 4 years she is def. queen of the tank. She has only chased him a little on the first day. Now there is very little chasing going on.
