missing 6100 mounting equipment

hello!

i've got a multicontroller and a 6100. i just picked up a 2nd 6100 off the forums, however it's missing the mounting equipment.

looking at marinedepot's site:

i think i want to go w/ mounting option Holder Device Extension (3000.260) 'B'.

couple questions on it:
1) from the drawing it's kinda hard to tell, but does that strip go alongside the bottom of the glass brace all the way to the glass wall, then down?

2) assuming i have *no* mounting equipment for it (or at least missing most of it), would that kit in-and-of-itself include everything necessary to mount it? or is that an 'add-on' to be used w/ the mounting equipment that comes w/ the 6100 from tunze? (i.e. if i were to order that kit, would i still be missing required pieces since i don't have any from the original 6100?)

oh oh, a third question!!

3) if i went w/ option C, adhesive attachment to the glass, can this be done in a fully established reef? or is this something that would have to be done w/ a drained tank?

The tank would have to be drained part way. In my experience true permanent adhesion requires a clean drain surface slightly scuffed with a scotchbrite or 400grit sandpaper. You will need a holder post and swivel arm I assume, I can get you the parts, just let me know what you need since 3000.26 is only an extension and more would be required.

What type of tank do you have- perimeter brace, plastic trim, etc?

i forget the term for the style, but it's a 240G glass tank and i've got one big center piece of glass and on each edge i've got ~6" glass braces.

this ~6" glass brace on the side is what i'd like to mount it to like letter B:

do you need the exact length of the glass brace or is this adequate information?

my buddy made another suggestion: glueing it to the back of a cleaning magnet. he had mentioned it before, i forgot about that option! what's your take on that rvitko?

The cleaning magnet is fine but expensive and bulky. We have a magnet holder coming out in about a month. If you use silicon you only need set 3000.260, if you want to clamp it to the perimeter you need 3000.240 and 3000.260
