Missing anenome

So I'm perplexed... I have a 30G tall nano that's been running for a couple of years now... Inhabitants include; soft coral, polyps, a goby with a pistol shrimp, a six line and two baby clowns. Inverts include a sand sifting star, an urchin, a hermit, an emerald crab. And four (or maybe three now?) BTA's.

A little over a week ago I noticed the beginning signs of Cyanobacteria so I messed with the power heads. My rose BTA started moving up the glass and one morning I fount it attached to my skimmer intake. I turned off the skimmer and the last time I saw the anenome it was moving across the glass. I haven't seen any sign of it since. :(

Everyone seems happy. I can't take the rock work apart as its stacked in a very tall tank and there's a lot of rock. This has been my hardiest bubbletip.

Could it have died without nuking my tank? It was a fair sized BTA...

Sadly no... No sign of the missing Anenome and the rest of the tank inhabitants have been fine. Still hoping that it's just hidden from view...
