Missing Clown... Anenome?

I have a BTA bout 4" in diameter. I also have a small clown fish, about 1.25" accross, and hes missing. Any chance a hungry anemone would possibly eat a clown? Anemone is currently half closed and i cant see inside..

check if your clown jumped out your tank and its not likely for an anemone to eat something live....or is it???(from what i heard from the forums)

well, he didnt jump out.. i searched around it and eveything and no sign.. i couldnt imagine my bta being able to even catch the clown, as the clown did not host it, and never went near it.. uugghh...

14g biocube? Check the back compartments, down deep with a flashlight. Not likely to have been eaten by the bta IMO.

I have a 14g biocube. I had a juvinelle clown go through the overflow slits and found it laying on the filter material. Thankfully the filter media was a little dirty (little standing water) I dropped it back in the tank and it was fine. If your filter pad is not tight fitting, it may have gone underneath into the chamber, just a thought. Hope you find it alive!

I lost my male skunk for two days he got sucked up the skimmer. I put the mess back now he stays in the tank.
