Missing GBTA

So my GBTA has been missing since the end of February. I was gone for ten days, and when I got back it was gone. It formally resided near a LTA and they seamed to be doing fine together. I know it is not hiding somewhere, because I have done extensively rearranged my rocks since then.

My sister did not notice anything out of the ordinary when she fed the tank.

I am at a loss. None of my tanks inhabitance seamed to be affected by its death, no ammonia spikes, nothing out of the ordinary, it is like it sprouted legs and took a hike.

Is it possible that my LTA ate it???

If any one has an idea as to what could have happened I would appreciate your ideas.

Thanks,
Aaron

Here is the missing nem, about 2.5".

1F2FRFBF,

Great idea but I don"t have one. I am truly at a loss. I think my sister traded it in a the LFS. lol

Any other ideas????

Is it possible that it died and the tank absorbed it? I thought that it would have nuked the tank.
Any other Ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Aaron

No anemones do not eat other anemones so that is out of the question.

Your sister could have sold it to the lfs. Maybe she needed some extra cash, who knows?

The most logical explanation is that it could have gone into hiding and by the time you came back and eventually rearranged your rocks, it had been so starved that it died and didn't spike the tank.

I moved my tanks 3 weeks ago. 2 rbtas in a 20 long. Both looked good the night after I moved and acclimated. Next day one was gone never to be seen again. No tank spikes, nothing looking bad, no where to be seen. I am at a complete loss as to where it went.

Little known fact...anemones, if ambitious enough, can teleport themselves back to the sea.

you know... i would not find that much harder to believe than some of the theories i have seen around here...
