Missing Leopard Wrasse

Hey guys,
Have a new Leopard Wrasse... Was ate LFS for 3 weeks eating Mysid, in my QT for 3 weeks doing well... Put him in display Saturday... Been about 40 hours now... He did dive right Into sand... Should I stir up his spot or let it go? I know these fish burrow. Just surprised because he was eating very well...

Like almost all wrasse, they are't above leaving the tank via the airways.

Mr.Tuskfish is correct. However, NEVER (Should I repeat that) EVER stir up the sand bed to find them.
