Ive taken every rock out of Mitches tank....there was no trace of Mitch.

Im sorry to hear that. He probably died while molting and was consumed by the rest of the tanks inhabitants, it happens.

yeah, im not sure but i thought i saw shell rot on him before he molted. There were several brown patches up and down his back, i kinda figured this was going to happen. I miss the little guy...

Sorry to hear that. I think the worst part is the wondering. When I lost Mjollnir I found what I thought was his body but it could have been a molt as it was empty.

yeah, it was killing my girl and I, just waiting for over a month. But Im glad i finaly took the tank apart and saw that he had passed... Im working on flushing out the system to accomidate a new mantis. A 30 gal can house a peacock, right?
