I have some bad news... The white, stringy "poo" has not gone away in the male clown. I will be bringing it back to Greenwich Aquaria (my LFS) hopefully this week. They will quarantine it properly.
It is going to be tough catching the clown. I think I'm going to buy a breeder net so I can catch it at night when it's sleeping and transfer it there until the next day when I can drive to the store.
Instead of a clown I definitely want an Anemone Shrimp. I saw tons of them while diving this summer and have loved them ever since. That means no Clowns in the tank, so I'll have to get something a little more creative. Maybe a wrasse or something? I'm open to suggestions!

Your tank looks great.
As for a replacement for the clown, I might use caution with a wrasse and anemone shrimp. Wrasses have a taste for crustaceans.

Very nice looking tank their Mitch. I like your reockwork. You also said you got the Manado Rock from Premium Aquatics. I am going to place an order in about 2 weeks for 50lbs of it after it cures. They just got a 1000lb shipment in on thursday.
How did you like the manado rock? Lighteight? Easy to stack? Colors.
