Mitras firmware disaster

I connected to one of my Mitras lamps and went into 'update firmware'
I didn't understand the instructions so I hit CANCEL
Now the lamp is dead, I cannot connect to it or even power it up.
Help!
Thanks

Ok, I cycled power a bunch of times and it finally came back up.
Two questions....
1. do I need to update firmware on each lamp individually or will they update each other wirelessly?
2. where do I find the 'device manager' for the address?

I found the address now that I got the driver working. However, it is saying COM4 and when I try to update firmware to 4 it fails. What am I doing wrong?

I love these lights. They are quiet also, which is awesome.

So how critical is the firmware upgrade? I wasn't able to do it but am happy with how the lights are running as-is.

Fishmommy I can't speak for GHL but I will tell you how I handle FW updates on other products...

First I evaluate if the unit is working properly and if it is I give less urgency to the FW Update.

Next I review the FW update documentation to see what exactly it does. If it does something I need/want then I will give it a higher rating. If it's just for future use (future features etc) I give it a very low rating.

Michael is away for a few days but I'm sure when he's back up to speed he'll address this issue promptly.

There's no rush. Thanks for your input.
Where would I find the FW documentation and tell which version I am running?

firmware is in the software.
yes, you have to update each light separately
the COM number will be shown a different device in windows device manager (I don't remember the name off hand though). This COM will be different than the one used to connect to the light.
